About the practice
Awen Design states that it positions sustainable design as a core consideration, aiming to mitigate the environmental impact of buildings locally, regionally and globally while improving occupant health and wellbeing. The practice has dedicated Passivhaus and Retrofit sections describing Passivhaus as a rigorous, independently certified low-energy design and quality-assurance standard aimed at high internal comfort with minimal energy use.
