About the practice
Silk Architecture is a RIBA-chartered practice based around the Cheshire and Manchester area, built on more than 20 years of experience. The practice covers bespoke private houses, residential developments, domestic extensions, commercial and care projects, and conservation and conversion work. Services span initial designs and feasibility studies, planning applications, technical design and building regulations submissions, principal designer duties, contract administration and site supervision. The team, led by Silvia Knowles alongside architects Samuel Potter and Simon Dore, describes a personal, client-focused approach and also works with smaller and larger developers on residential schemes.
