About the practice
GRT Architecture, based in Wirksworth in the Derbyshire Dales, was originally established by architect Derek Trowell as Derek Trowell Architects. In 2017 former employees took ownership of the practice, continuing its work under the new name. The practice offers architectural design for new dwellings, commercial buildings, extensions and conservation projects, and states experience working with listed buildings and in conservation areas. Work is typically carried out across Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield and the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.
